DMCA & Trademark Policy
Last updated: April 17, 2026
LinkSplasher™ respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content on our platform infringes your copyright or trademark, we have a process to review and, when appropriate, remove it.
1. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you own a copyrighted work that you believe has been used on a LinkSplasher page without authorization, you can submit a DMCA takedown notice. We will review it, and if the notice is valid, remove the content and notify the user responsible.
2. What Your Notice Must Include
Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), your notice must contain:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized agent
- Identification of the copyrighted work that has allegedly been infringed
- The URL of the allegedly infringing material on LinkSplasher (for example, linksplasher.com/username)
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner
3. Where to Send Your Notice
Email DMCA notices to hello@linksplasher.com with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice".
Incomplete, unclear, or fraudulent notices will be rejected without further action.
4. Counter-Notification
If your content was removed and you believe the removal was in error or the result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to the same email address.
Your counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the district where your address is located, or if outside the United States, the Southern District of Florida
5. Reporting Trademark Abuse
LinkSplasher™ is a common-law trademark of V. A. M. Outfitters, LLC. To report unauthorized use of our brand — including imposter pages, domain squatting, or confusingly similar services — email hello@linksplasher.com with the subject line "Trademark Report".
Please include in your report:
- The trademark you believe is being infringed
- The URL or location of the abusive use
- Your relationship to the trademark owner
- Your contact information
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
Accounts that receive repeated valid DMCA or trademark notices will be suspended or terminated, as required by the DMCA safe harbor provisions. We also reserve the right to terminate any account engaged in clear infringement.
7. Response Timeline
We aim to respond to valid notices within 48 hours of receipt. Complex cases or notices received outside business hours may take longer. We will acknowledge receipt of every properly submitted notice, regardless of the outcome.
8. Not Legal Advice
This page explains our process for handling intellectual property complaints. It is not legal advice. Filing a false DMCA notice or trademark report can expose you to liability. If you have legal questions about your rights, consult an attorney.
